DANDELION Nutritional Therapy

Support your health and well being with naturopathic nutrition.

What is Naturopathic Nutrition and how can it support you?

Food as medicine

I focus on the importance of nutrition to promote & maintain good health.

I encourage the use of local, unprocessed & organic foods to nourish your body.

I consider the traditional Chinese medicine approach of food energetics & your constitution to help guide dietary choices.

Naturopathy

Naturopathy is a system of healthcare that encourages the body’s own self healing mechanisms. Promoting prevention of disease over a cure is a leading principle.

As a naturopathic nutritional therapist I won’t treat your symptoms in isolation, I will consider you as a whole, investigating dietary, physical, emotional, lifestyle, environmental and genetic factors that might be impacting you.

I can also use functional testing via independent labs which can be helpful to guide a specific nutritional protocol.

Support without judgement

Everyone is different - my approach is personalised & supportive with a focus on goals & well-being.

Some of the areas where I have supported clients include:

  • Blood glucose imbalances

  • Hormonal imbalances

  • Anxiety & stress

  • Improved energy levels

  • Digestive issues

  • Skin complaints

  • Cholesterol management

  • Better sleep

To discuss your symptoms, health concerns & goals in depth, while examining factors such as your nutritional habits, digestive health, sleep patterns, stress levels & exercise routine.

  • NUTRITIONAL PLAN

A unique plan will be designed to align with your health goals, which will include a nutritional protocol, supplements, self-care tool resources & recommendations for functional or GP tests where relevant.

Once you have received your plan, you will follow this protocol for an agreed amount of time until your next session.

  • FOLLOW UP CONSULTATION

To review your nutritional plan & any test results. This will enable me to make any relevant tweaks to continue to get the best results for you.

My family has always used natural healthcare & lifestyle tools alongside allopathic medicine to support our health. My Mum used homeopathy and kinesiology, my Dad used meditation, traditional Chinese and ayurvedic medicine, and my Granny practiced yoga her whole life.

When I was in my twenties and thirties my stomach was often in turmoil after several solid years of partying and working in a fast-paced environment. I felt depleted and I turned to nutritional therapy to help me to prioritise my health & wellbeing.

Fast forward a few years, with the help of some brilliant practitioners, I sorted out my IBS, got pregnant after a miscarriage, and found ways to feel more resilient whilst balancing work and family life. It was through my own experiences and armed with this knowledge that I decided to study naturopathic nutrition, inspired to keep learning and to support others.

I am a qualified nutritional therapist who received my certification from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.

Hannah Lawton, Nutritional Therapist

About me

“Thank you for working with me to improve my gut health & address issues in such a sensitive & accessible way. I often refer back to your notes.’’

-Eileen

“I had a fantastic experience in just a few sessions with Hannah. She is very thorough & her recommendations were easy to follow, but most importantly effective. I really appreciate the work she did and would recommend her to anyone if you are looking for insightful help.”

-Kash Q

Hannah has been such a huge comfort for me as I've been working to heal chronic stomach inflammation. With her guidance and recommendations I am making huge progress on my healing journey and can finally see light at the end of the tunnel, which at several points I didn't think would ever happen. I highly recommend Hannah and feel significantly more informed about nutrition, gut health and digestive health.

-Christy M

It has been great to have Hannah on side to help with some confusing medical conditions that were causing hormone imbalance.

Hannah’s initial research session about my health history and current symptoms was thorough and empathetic. She came back with a personalised nutrition and supplement plan that gave me lots of information on what foods to avoid and incorporate, great healthy recipes and some general easy food and shopping ideas.

After following her plan for six-weeks my digestive problems pretty much disappeared and my energy levels were increased. Following an unexpected bout of illness, a further session with Hannah gave me more meal and food ideas and advise on immunity.

Hannah’s diligence and knowledge are obvious. She really puts the work in to deliver a plan that works for her patient as an individual – understanding that busy lives sometimes leave time only for the simplest hacks and with a holistic approach that improves health in general. She’s a great listener and it’s always a pleasure to have a session with her.

-Kate F

“I can highly recommend Hannah, whether it’s IBS & food intolerances, or helping to build strength due to tiredness, age or hormonal changes. I felt I could rely on Hannah’s advice because she is knowledgable, detail-orientated & forensic in her approach. In my case she didn’t suggest solutions until she had amassed wide-ranging information about me, my lifestyle & food habits. What also put me at ease is her sensitive, thoughtful approach to nutrition & how she dealt with personal issues with great discretion & sensitivity & kindness. What I liked was that Hannah takes more of a food-based approach.”
